Instructions for Payment of Membership Fees for 2010

Dear Member,

The political disruption between March and May has calmed, and Bangkok is back to normal. This was a particularly difficult time for the office of the APA at Chulalongkorn University because the streets around our campus were the sites of much violence and destruction. Our staff were unable to come to the office, and much of the routine work of APA was put on hold.

We are glad to be able to tell you that things are better. We have been checking the progress in the payments of subscription and have discovered that many of you have been unable to log on to make your payment because of confusion about your user name and id. If you have already made your payment, please do not worry. It means your user name and password are correct and working well. However, if you have had a problem with logging in, there is a quick way to fix it. First open your web browser and go to: http://www.asianpa.org

1. You should put this in the username box in the left side of the home page and then click on the phrase ?Lost Password?.
2. A new page will open asking you to repeat your user name and provide your email address.
3. A new password will be sent to your email address, and you should use this to log on to the APA page.
4. It is recommended you immediately go to the ?User Menu? and update ?Your Details? with a new password. This will also give you a chance to update all your details including the spelling and order of your name, your professional experience information and recent publications.
5. Once you are happy with your new password, go back to the homepage and click the prominent button on the upper left corner labelled ?Payment Form for APA Membership Fee?.
6. The secure PayPal system will safely process your payment by credit card. Alternatively other information is available if you want to pay by bank transfer, bank draft or cheque.
